Safety & Conduct

Platform Policies

Rules for Community, reviews, photos, trips, Marketplace listings and transactions, fraud prevention, reporting, blocking, moderation, and enforcement.

Effective August 15, 2026 Lavitatech LLC · Connava

1. Purpose and scope

These Platform Policies set the conduct and content standards for Connava Community, destination reviews, trip interactions, public profiles, Marketplace listings and transactions, Marketplace reviews, reports, blocking, and related features. They apply in addition to the Terms of Service.

Connava is a travel-discovery platform built to support useful, respectful, safety-conscious travel planning. These rules apply to everyone.

2. Community standards

Community questions, conversations, replies, and votes should be relevant to travel, destinations, local context, planning, or experiences. Users must engage in good faith.

Not allowed

3. Destination review policy

A destination review should reflect a genuine visit, experience, or good-faith assessment tied to that destination. Ratings and written reviews must not be fabricated, bought, traded, coordinated, or posted to manipulate reputation.

Review photos must be relevant, lawfully uploaded, and appropriate for public display. Do not upload copyrighted photos you do not have permission to use, intimate images without consent, identity documents, financial information, or photos whose primary purpose is to shame, harass, or expose a private person.

Connava may apply frequency limits, duplicate-review prevention, integrity checks, photo moderation, and other safeguards to preserve review quality.

4. Trip invitations and group messaging

Trip features are for genuine travel planning and coordination. Do not use trip invitations or group messages for spam, harassment, dating-style solicitation, scams, credential requests, payment diversion, or unwanted contact.

Respect blocking controls. A user must not attempt to invite, add, message, or reach a blocked user through alternate accounts or other members to defeat a block.

5. Marketplace listing standards

Marketplace listings must be truthful, specific, lawful, and sufficiently clear for a reasonable user to understand what is being offered.

Sellers must accurately state material details such as title, description, destination, meeting location or method, price, duration, capacity, availability, requirements, accessibility information, cancellation terms, contact information, and relevant safety information.

Marketplace listings may not:

6. Seller conduct

Sellers must communicate professionally, honor accepted bookings and disclosed policies, disclose material changes promptly, maintain required permits and insurance, and provide the offering with reasonable care.

Sellers may not retaliate against Buyers for good-faith complaints, pressure users to withdraw reports, condition service on a positive review, or threaten negative Buyer reviews to obtain money or concessions.

7. Buyer conduct

Buyers must provide accurate booking information, follow lawful and disclosed participation requirements, respect Sellers, venues, and other participants, and use payment and dispute tools honestly.

Buyers may not make knowingly false reports, fraudulent chargebacks, extortionate refund demands, threats of negative reviews to obtain undeserved benefits, or deceptive claims about a completed Marketplace interaction.

8. Marketplace reviews

Where enabled, Sellers and Buyers may review each other following a qualifying transaction or interaction. Reviews must be based on that interaction and focus on relevant conduct, service, communication, or fulfillment.

Prohibited review behavior includes fake reviews, review rings, compensation for false reviews, retaliation, extortion, discriminatory content, irrelevant personal attacks, disclosure of private information, or reviews posted from accounts controlled by the same person or coordinated business.

9. Scam and fraud prevention

Connava prohibits phishing, impersonation, stolen payment instruments, fake listings, fake buyers, advance-fee scams, refund scams, credential theft, account takeover, forged documents, money laundering, and other deceptive conduct.

Users should be cautious when another person creates urgency, asks for secrecy, requests gift cards or unrelated cryptocurrency payments, asks for a verification code, requests sensitive identity documents without a legitimate reason, or sends an unverified payment or sign-in link.

10. Personal safety

Travel and real-world Marketplace interactions can involve risks that software cannot eliminate. Users should make independent safety decisions, verify meeting information, tell a trusted person when appropriate, use public meeting locations when appropriate, consider local conditions, and avoid sharing unnecessary sensitive information.

For emergencies or immediate threats, contact local emergency services. Connava reporting is not an emergency-response service.

11. Reporting

Users may report eligible content, Marketplace listings, reviews, or accounts using available report tools. Reports should be submitted in good faith and include enough information for review. Knowingly false or abusive reporting may itself violate these policies.

Connava may review the reported item, account history, transaction context, related content, and other information reasonably necessary to assess the report. We do not promise a particular enforcement result or disclose confidential moderation details.

12. Blocking and hiding

Blocking is a user safety and preference control. Depending on the feature, blocking may reduce or prevent visibility of Community or review content, profile interaction, trip invitations, additions to trips, and other interactions. Hiding content affects what the hiding user sees.

Users may not evade a block through alternate accounts, other users, repeated invitations, or indirect contact.

13. Enforcement

Depending on severity, history, risk, and context, Connava may take one or more actions, including:

Serious fraud, exploitation, credible threats, dangerous illegal conduct, or repeated enforcement evasion may result in immediate action without a prior warning.

14. Appeals and support

If you believe an enforcement action was made in error, you may contact connavatravel@gmail.com. Include enough information to identify the account, listing, content, or transaction at issue. Connava may decline repetitive, abusive, fraudulent, or previously resolved appeals.

15. Intellectual property and authenticity

Only post content you created, own, or have permission to use. Do not copy another platform’s proprietary content, scrape Connava, impersonate brands or creators, or publish counterfeit materials. Connava may remove content that appears to infringe intellectual-property rights and may act against repeat infringers.

16. Policy updates

Connava may update these Platform Policies as features, safety risks, laws, and Marketplace operations evolve. The current version will be posted here with its effective date.
